GENERAL INFORMATION ON COLLECTION AND USE
Like most website operators, Philadelphia Contemporary collects non-personally identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request.
Philadelphia Contemporary does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under the age of 13, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.
PHILADELPHIA CONTEMPORARY SHOP
Philadelphia Contemporary provides visitors with an opportunity to make online purchases from our online store at philadelphiacontemporary.org/shop-main. When users order a product online from philadelphiacontemporary.org/shop-main, Philadelphia Contemporary will need to collect their names, billing and shipping addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, and credit card information to process their orders. Credit card information will be stored temporarily on a secured server and used only as needed to process a transaction.
Pixel Tags are minimal blocks of graphical codes embedded in emails or webpages. These common web technologies do not contain any personal information about our visitors. However, they may gather information to analyze traffic to the website and to improve the content and navigation. If you reject cookies, you may not be able to use certain features of our web site and we recommend that you leave them turned on.
We do not respond to a do-not-track signal from your browser.
The security of your personal information is important to us, and we make every reasonable effort to ensure the security of procedures and communications that occur on the websites. COMMUNICATIONS AND NEWSLETTER
Philadelphia Contemporary offers visitors the opportunity to subscribe to its newsletter mailing lists which will ask you to provide your name and e-mail address. We may use your provided personal information to contact you with newsletters or other information that may be of interest to you. E-mail recipients can opt out at any time by following the “unsubscribe” instructions included in the message. FEEDBACK AND SURVEY
Philadelphia Contemporary may ask for feedback and may publish surveys on the web site or through a reputable third-party provider or partner. Your participation is on a voluntary and anonymous basis, unless otherwise declared. We use the survey responses to improve our understanding of our visitors and our programming to best serve your desires. Information collected in these surveys is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

As a member of the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance (GPCA), Philadelphia Contemporary participates in a secure data-sharing network with other GPCA member organizations. This program is managed by the GPCA in partnership with TRG Arts, a data-driven consulting company that provides management of patron data and adheres to best practices in data security and privacy. This program provides a secure environment for the sharing of non-sensitive patron data such as names and mailing addresses between Philadelphia Contemporary and other organizations.
